first thing to say about Lisbon is that it is a very nice city, for its good temperature all year round, its exciting nightlife, nearby beaches and its many corners to discover.
The historic center of the city is dicided into four districts:
- The Baixa is the heart of the city, where all the ruins of the city and without doubt the most visited area of \u200b\u200bLisbon. It is characterized by its straight streets and squared.
- Alfama is a neighborhood with narrow streets and quiet, where you can enjoy dinner with live music. In this neighborhood we can see the Cathedral and the Castle of Sao Jorge.
- The Barrio Alto is a shopping and entertainment. Is the main area for nightlife with a few drinks and therefore meeting point for young people in the city.
- El Barrio de Belem is a historic area, located on the banks of the Tagus Estuary, so you can stroll along the banks of the river watching the April 25 Bridge, the Tower of Belem and Jeronimos Monastery two (top right). Moreover, this area has gardens and lawns to relax. In this neighborhood can be easily reached by tram 15. Trams here are "free" if you put a little face;).
A Streetcar were you I'd cojáis is number 28, which links the most important areas of downtown Lisbon. This is most striking a tram comfortable and especially in summer is usually filled with tourists. This tram shall live a continuous rise and fall characteristic of the streets of Lisbon.
As for accommodation, depending on the time you to visit Lisbon. If you do in the summer I would advise that you stay in one of its nearby beaches, Costa de Caparica, Cascais, Guincho ... because then you can enjoy both the coast and the city. Besides these areas have many quality hotels and campsites for those looking for something cheaper. Instead if you visit in winter, it is preferable that you alojeis in Lisbon itself, with many hotels and hostels.
I do not think I have anything to say, only if you have any questions, do not hesitate to discuss it.
