Today one of the last cities I've visited: BRUSSELS.

Brussels is the capital of Belgium, but can also be considered, but the capital, one of the capitals of the European Union. It has about 150000 inhabitants, but really, the metropolitan area is about 1700000 inhabitants.

To get to Brussels, the most economical way is Ryanair ( www.ryanair.com), which reaches from Charleroi airport in Madrid, Valladolid, Valencia, Alicante, Malaga, Zaragoza and Gerona, reasonable prices. The airport is near the city, but within 45 min, and at a price of 11 euros, takes you to the Gare du Midi, where you can catch public transport, both metro and tram to get to where we want . It is very important to know that public transport, as in Bologna, is "FREE", because few drivers.

Actually, this city has many things to see, but you have are really nice, especially the Grand Place, surrounded by beautiful old buildings, prosperous merchants, along with the impressive city hall, which descataca his precious tower.

The cathedral is also a must, but neither is very striking. The royal palace is also nice, although to my taste, the next most spectacular is the Atomium (easily reached by subway), built for Expo 1958, which represents an "iron crystal" enlarged 165 million times. It is very showy and spectacular, and it can be accessed inside.

But what I really think that is the symbol of Brussels is the Manneken Pis, a statue of about 50 cm high that a child is peeing, of which there are many legends, as saying that peed on explosive positioned to fly city, hence now is a hero. The statue is really disappointing if you expect something great, but it's funny.

to eat near the center is a street not remember the name, full of restaurants, menus offering "cheap", but then charge you so much for the drink (5 € a pint of water), and mussels offered potatoes with gravy, the most typical of Belgium. It is essential to eat strawberries and chocolate and try Belgian chocolates, one of the delicacies of the country. Sleeping podreis

easily locate very cheap hostels, but look not in the Canal Zone, as it is somewhat dangerous.

to party I recommend going the first weekend of the month, because in the disco Bulex (done in a renovated school) is organizing a major Rave, with a great atmosphere. Otherwise, you can go to bars like the Celtic, Cabraliego ... or at other clubs in town. For the party do not worry, there is enough.

Y'know, if you have any questions timely comment.
